Well, we spent all day shoveling – it was actually a ton of fun and the whole neighborhood was out doing the same.  Click on the image below to go to the whole album:

Boo! enjoying the snow

Lots of ATVs and snowmbiles towing snowboarders – it was pretty cool.  We also heard that tomorrow is another snow day – that’s right CSU is closed again!  This means that I am officially on Vacation!  Anyway, overall I think Fort Collins co 22 inches of snow – and with the temperatures hitting 40 degrees today – I can’t wait to drive through town and check out all of the snowmen.  We have to brave the roads early tomorrow to pick up the SUV we rented for the drive down to Durango – thank god we reserved a rental – our cars don’t do so hot in the snow anymore…  Anyway – I hope everyone has a great vacation and Christmas and I will miss you all – maybe I’ll post something while I am in Durango to let you know how it is going!  Happy Holidays!

Here is an update! CSU closed tomorrow YAY! Here are the cars – it is supposed to snow like this through noon tomorrow:

That’s right – no worky for me! There is a big storm that is just kind of dumping on us right now in traditional Buffalo fashion. Here is a look out our front door – I am now drinking a Powder Hound Winter Ale from Big Sky Brewing out of Missoula Montana and loving it!

Snow Day!

Well, most of you already have one of these unless you are like Dan Moskowitz and never responded to my request for an updated address and then I got it back in the mail yesterday “return to sender”.

Happy Holidays 2006

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season – have some wings and drink a few Labatt Blues for me at the Bill for those who will be home.

Well, we made it out to the mountains for skiing yesterday for the first time this season.  We went to Loveland Ski Resort (we got a four pack to this mountain this year since we had never been).  Click on the image below for more pictures in the Gallery:

Skiing at Loveland

Loveland is located right off the I70 and sits right on top of the Eisenhower Tunnel.  This “Basin” is where we spent the whole day and despite the hurricane force winds at the top – the views and sunshine kept us going.  I am looking forward to Loveland later in the season after some fresh powder as their bowls looked like fun – although there was a lot of exposed areas which prevented me from taking my babies (Rossignol Bandit B2s) up there.
