For those of you familiar with John Hodgman’s recent book “The Areas of My Expertise” you will be pleased to hear that a site has emerged which has illustrated all 700 of the hobo names John lists in said book. For those of you not familiar with the work of John Hodgman (he is “PC” on those “PC – MAC” commercials) – I URGE you to pick up a copy of this book (or audio book) as soon as humanly possible.

Kelley and I did a ropes course together this past weekend. CSU has a pretty cool one built just off campus and I have wanted to try it for a long time. Most of the activities were partner specific so we had to work together to get through them. The hardest was the “Giant’s Ladder” which you see a picture of below involved scaling the ever shifting and increasingly distant rungs of, well a giant rope ladder. We made it all the way to the top with some clever use of each other as smaller ladders. If you click on the image below you can see some other pictures of our day.
