Bottle Water

Yesterday Kelley and I … and around 4,800 other bike riders participated in Fort Collins’ annual Tour De Fat. This year, New Belgium Brewery (the organizers) were going for a world record for this type of event/ride and only had to beat 1,901 participants or something (I am not clear on the details) – anyway, during the ride I captured this video which I put up on YouTube – it involves two riders dressed like American Gladiators. They decided to joust in CSU’s oval – Enjoy!

As you know, I am pretty excited whenever big news arises that will reduce our dependence on coal and oil for our energy needs. As was just announced a couple of days ago, AVA Solar, has revolutionized solar cell manufacturing making it far cheaper that it has ever been in the past. And the best news is, it is a Colorado State University Professor who invented it! They are planning on building a 200 megawatt factory in Fort Collins in the near future which will power 40,000 homes! Check out the information at the link below:
