It’s official, Buffalo Bills Offensive Coordinator, Steve Fairchild, will be Colorado State University’s new Head Coach! Steve is a CSU alumnus, and has coached at CSU before. With our horrible record the past few years, this is a welcome change that is sure to get us back on track in the Mountain West. Rather than regurgitate facts about Fairchild’s past with CSU and his commitment to the Buffalo Bills, here are links to some articles written about the event:

Folks… I have discovered what can only be a squirrel of considerable royalty. This monster is as large as a cat and does not fear the hunter’s bullet. Located in Estes Park, Colorado I managed to get this photo which I have posted in extremely high resolution for us to study, and god willing, discover a weakness.

Squirrel Royalty

I am sure a lot of you have seen this, but in case you haven’t, it answers that age old question.

Well, if you haven’t heard you either don’t answer your phone, don’t read your e-mail or live under a rock! Kelley and I are engaged!

On Sunday, November 18th, Kelley and I got into our new Suburu Outback, loaded Boo! in the back, and headed out for a hike up Crosier Mountain (near Estes Park). Coincidentally (or not) this was the first hike that Kelley and I did when we started dating. Anyhow, we decided to try a different trailhead this time and approach the summit from a different direction. This turned out to be a bad idea since we got lost somehow. At around 5 miles in (when we should have been on the summit according to our guidebook) we found ourselves looking at the trail descend some 500 feet into a ravine – clearly we had taken a wrong turn. I took the opportunity to scout ahead with Boo! along while Kelley remained behind perched atop a boulder. Earlier that week I had attached the ring box to a brand new, bright yellow collar for Boo!. I stopped just out of sight and slipped the ring I had been carrying onto Boo! and started my trek back up. Upon reaching Kelley, I announced that I think we took a wrong turn and we decided to head back. before we could begin though, Boo! jumped up onto the boulder and kelley noticed the strange object attached to him. “I don’t know, what is it?” I said in response to her nervous inquiry. She suddenly realized what was going on, jumped off of the boulder, and accepted my proposal. It was perfect and she was totally surprised. So, now we are engaged, and have begun planning the wedding. It will most likely be in Colorado, sometime in August or September. I’ll be sure to post more information as it becomes available.
